This Alaskan Native style Midnight Sun necklace/brooch, cast in eco-friendly reclaimed solid sterling silver, is a perfect Solstice gift to celebrate the seasons! Living in Alaska, Solstice, both Winter and Summer have come to mean so much to me. Winter comes and we crave the light and appreciate every minute we get. In High Summer we need to cover our eyes at night to get any sleep.
The Midnight Sun measures 1 & 3/8" in diameter, comes on a 20" sterling silver chain, includes a pin back and so may also be worn as a brooch.
Like all of my jewelry, I hand carved this original design in wax and then had it cast in reclaimed Sterling Silver.
It will arrive in a lovely royal blue velveteen pouch with story card and polishing cloth.
