The cycle of life, represented so well by Salmon. Wild Alaskan Salmon. They nourish us, body and spirit. Carved in the Northwest Coast Native style of the Tlingit people, first people of the Chilkat Valley in Southeast Alaska where I live. I made this design with much respect for and encouragement from my native friends.
I first carved the piece in a hard wax then had it cast in reclaimed solid sterling silver.
It measures 1 & 3/8" in diameter and comes on a 20" silver chain.
Your Salmon Necklace will arrive in a lovely royal blue velveteen pouch with a story card and polishing cloth.
Gift wrapping available!

This is just beautiful--a well-designed mid-weight pendant for a little heavier chains. I love the Katmai Brown Bears on Explore.org, so wanted a salmon pendant, and this one is exactly right for me. I am hoping she gets the salmon earrings back in!
