Alaskan Silver Fireweed Dangle Earrings, cast in reclaimed silver, on silver ear wires

Summers in Alaska follow the cycle of Fireweed. Fresh green shoots, gathered for early Spring salads. Stunning magenta flowers blooming throughout high Summer. Cottony fluff running up the stalks spreading next year's seeds bring in the first hint of Fall. The final turn of their leaves to deep red says Summer is done.

As with all of my jewelry, I first carved them in wax then had them cast in reclaimed Sterling Silver.

Ear wires are also Sterling Silver.

These earrings measure 1 & 1/8" long x 3/8" wide.
