Carved in Alaskan Native style, this solid Sterling Silver Eagle Frontlet Necklace is cast in eco friendly reclaimed silver. It comes on a 20" silver chain and can also be worn as a brooch.
I live in the Chilkat Valley in Haines, Alaska. It is also known as the "Valley of Eagles". I see Eagles soaring overhead everyday. And I never get tired of it. We have an Eagle Festival every November to celebrate, educate and revel in our majestic raptors. I invite you all to join us!
In addition to being one of the two Native Tlingit moieties in this region Eagles represent so many things for me. The way they soar above everything, their vision clear and sharp, inspires me to do the same. Soar above politics, above troubles, above the conflicts. Witness with clarity and take action with surety. Above all, live wild and free.
This piece is designed in the shape of a miniature Frontlet, an important piece of dance regalia.

Beautiful pendant that reminds me of the time I spent venturing and living in Alaska. I do wish I could get a version without the pin, but that is admittedly a bit nit picky. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase. Arrived packaged beautifully. Highly recommend this seller.
